Product detail
Name: Chunpoong MiJu 9%
Volume: 375ml / 750ml
Alcohol: 9%
Ingredients: Non-glutinous rice, glutinous rice, yeast, nuruk, and purified water (all domestically produced in Korea)

Brewing - 'Sayangju'
Our ancestors refined their liquor by fermenting rice again in liquor that was still undergoing fermentation, a process known as "secondary fermentation," which, when repeated three times, produces Sayangju. MiJu undergoes meticulous and intricate fermentation processes four times before being released.

How to drink
Store MiJu upright in the refrigerator (Temperature between 0°C and 3°C). When serving, enjoy MiJu chilled at a temperature between 7°C and 9°C, similar to the temperature at which champagne is served. Stored MiJu separates into clear top layer and cloudy bottom layer.
First, enjoy the clear top layer of the drink by pouring it into your glass without shaking.
After drinking down to the label level, shake the bottle and enjoy again.

Tasting Note

The clear and elegant upper layer offers vibrant aromas of quince, pear, and green apple, with a subtle hint of white wildflowers. On the palate, it reveals a gentle sweetness derived from rice, balanced acidity, and a faint touch of bitterness—creating a harmony reminiscent of a refined white wine.
The lower layer presents a rich, milky texture, akin to cloudy rice. Unlike the upper layer, it delivers deeper flavors of vanilla, yogurt, and tangerine peel, along with savory notes of scorched rice, and hints of lemon and acacia. This complexity makes it particularly well-suited for food pairing.

Food Pairing
